Head Society by Alfred Graf

On the Alpine Art hiking trail at Muttersberg, eight renowned artists have created their works – each station is unique, shaped by individual perspectives on life in the mountains.

Humans shape the landscape through use, perception, and memory – weaving it into their experience of the world. Muttersberg, once a place of agriculture, mining, school, and chapel, holds many stories. From this diversity emerged the idea of a "Köpfegalerie": heads made from local material, inspired by historical and contemporary figures, invite you to pause, remember, and touch.

Material: Cement, gravel
Size: variable
About the artist: Alfred Graf was born in 1958 in Feldkirch . He studied fine arts in Vienna and completed his studies in 1984. He lives and works in Vienna and Feldkirch.
