Stage 2 of the 2-day tour over the Zimbajoch with overnight stay at the Heinrich-Hueter-Hütte
Tour description
On the second day, the tour leads down into the Rellstal valley, past the Alpengasthof Rellstal and from here on to the Zaluanda Alpe. The trail leads past the Zaluanda Alpe and up to the Schweizer Tor. Keep right at the Schweizer Tor and continue over the Verajoch to the Lünersee. From here, either descend via the Bösen Tritt to the valley station or take the Lünerseebahn cable car. From the valley station, walk back to Brand Innertal via Schattenlagant or alternatively take the L580 bus.
Duration:
Day 2: approx. 5 hours to the Lünerseebahn mountain station, another 45 minutes via the Bösen Tritt to the Lünerseebahn valley station, another 1 hour from the Lünerseebahn valley station to Brand Innertal.
Note: The times given are approximate. Depending on fitness, weather conditions or other factors, the walking time may be shorter or longer.

Equipment
Sturdy footwear, warm clothing, rain and sun protection, a snack, a full water bottle and hiking poles are recommended. Additional equipment for an overnight stay in a refuge. Cell phone for emergencies.
