Stage 2 of the 2-day tour via Saulasteig and Zimbajoch with overnight stay at the Heinrich-Hueter or Sarotla Hütte
Tour description
On the second day, either from the first overnight accommodation: Heinrich-Hueter-Hütte via a steep south-facing slope over scree zig-zagging up to Zimbajoch and on to the second overnight accommodation: Sarotla Hütte, or directly from the Sarotla Hütte through the Sarotla Valley to bus stop Bürserberg Tschappina.
Variant 1
Day 2: from the Heinrich-Hueter hut approx. 5 hours to bus stop Bürserberg Tschappina
Variant 2
Day 2: from the Sarotla hut approx. 3 ½ hours to bus stop Bürserberg Tschappina
Note: The times given are approximate. Depending on fitness, weather conditions or other factors, the walking time may be shorter or longer.

Equipment
Sturdy footwear, warm clothing, rain and sun protection, a snack, a full water bottle and hiking poles are recommended. Additional equipment for an overnight stay in a refuge. Cell phone for emergencies.

Landbus Brandnertal line L580 from Bludenz to the Lünerseebahn stop
On the second day, take bus L580 from the Bürserberg Tschappina stop to the Lünerseebahn stop

Option 1: Lünerseebahn valley station car park, on day 2 take the bus from the Bürserberg Tschappina stop to the Lünerseebahn valley station stop
Option 2: Parking lot Brand Innertal (P4), take the bus from the Brand Palüdbahn stop to the Lünerseebahn valley station stop, on day 2 take the bus from the Bürserberg Tschappina stop to the Brand Palüdbahn stop.
