Stage 4 of the 4-day hut tour with ascent of the Schesaplana, the highest peak in the Rätikon
Tour description
On the fourth day, you continue from the Mannheimer Hütte via the Leibersteig down to the Oberzalim Hütte. From there you hike along the Zalimweg trail through the picturesque Zalimtal valley towards Brand Innertal.
Tips:
We recommend surefootedness, a head for heights and alpine experience. You can divide the ascent per day and hours according to the weather and your needs.
The times given are approximate. Depending on fitness, weather conditions or other circumstances, the walking time may be shorter or longer.

Equipment
Sturdy footwear, warm clothing, rain and sun protection, a snack, a full water bottle and hiking poles are recommended. Additional equipment for an overnight stay in a refuge and, if necessary, grödel for crossing the glacier field. Cell phone for emergencies.
