4-day tour around the Lünersee | Brand
Four days, three huts, two summits
Tour description
Stage 1
The hike begins at the valley station of the Lünerseebahn cable car. The ascent over the Böser Tritt first leads to the Lünersee lake. The Böse Tritt is less scary than the name suggests and you experience a beautiful hike with many surprising views of rugged terrain. Once you reach the lake, continue along the right bank until you reach the turn-off to the Totalphütte hut. From here, the trail climbs again until you reach the hut. Then continue to the Schesaplana at almost 3,000 m above sea level, before returning to the Totalphütte.

On the second day, you descend from the Totalphütte to the Lünsersee, over the Verajoch and the impressive Swiss Gate - a personal highlight of the tour. You reach the Öfapass and make your way to the Lindauer Hütte. The Lindauer Hütte welcomes you with a well-earned break and plenty of comfort - a perfect reward after an eventful day.

Stage 3
The third day takes you along the AlpkulTour trail, through forests to the Rellstal alpine inn. On the other side of the valley, a leisurely path leads up to the Heinrich-Hueter Hütte. You then venture onto the Saulajoch and further up to the Gipsköpfle (1,975 m), the second summit of the tour. Once there, you will be rewarded with breathtaking views - an unforgettable experience! Then it's back to the Heinrich-Hueter Hütte.
