Stage 3 of the 5-day tour in the Rätikon with overnight stay in huts
Tour description
On the third day, we continue on to the Schesaplana. From the Mannheimer Hütte, an alpine trail leads over the Brandner Gletscher (glacier) to the summit. The descent is via the Totalp Hütte to Lake Lünersee. The Douglass Hütte is located on the shore of the reservoir.

Equipment
Sturdy shoes, warm clothing, rain and sun protection, a snack, a full water bottle and hiking poles are recommended. Additional equipment for an overnight stay in a refuge and, if necessary, grödel for crossing the glacier field. Cell phone for emergencies.
